Construction is currently underway in Sin City to build the world’s tallest Ferris wheel, or more properly, observation wheel. Once complete and resplendent with lights in this painted city, it will be an impressive sight.

Last I was there, they were still attaching the observation cabins, (or capsules or pods), in which up to 40 people will have a 30 minute opportunity to both read the ads emblazoned on the pods’ interiors and marvel at the oasis in the desert from 550 feet in the air.

The $30.00 ride will be breathtaking, but with no bathrooms aboard, it could be breath-holding as well, depending upon what you or your co-passengers most recently consumed.

In any event, this spinning architecture can’t help but dominate an already interesting city-scape.
