The Shiba Inu and the Jack Russell

Last Sunday brought me dogs that were the opposite ends of the spectrum, but they were both fun, wonderful and beautiful to shoot.  The Shiba Inu and her sweet owner were laid back and easy-going.  I love the black/blue tongue and the fact that you can almost mistake this sweet dog for a bear.

The Jack Russell, as with just about any Jack Russell I have ever met, was super sweet, very smart and could power a small town with all of the energy she has.

Both dogs are beautiful.  See for yourself!

I love this image because her owner was skeptical that she would jump up on the chair to have her portrait done.  She is not allowed on the furniture at home, and as far as it is known, has never climbed up onto the furniture.  Without a moment’s hesitation, this beautiful dog hopped right up and posed for me.  Makes you wonder just what our precious pooches do when we aren’t looking.  :~)

A pair of pretty smiles

This dog is absolutely huggable

Can you see the grizzly resemblance?

What a sweet and silly boy

The loving, high-energy Jack Russell terrier tested my shooting reflexes.  She didn’t hold still at any time longer than a heartbeat.  Still, I think we got a few keepers.

Smilin' "Jack" Russell

This is one love-bug!

Happy Dog of the Day!

Photography is an art of obser vation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…. Your pictures demonstrate beauty in every-day life that would otherwise go unseen–that makes them special. Thank you for everything!
