Howl-o-ween Results

I know we are nearly on the homestretch for Thanksgiving, but I thought you might like to see some shots from the Halloween Giveaway Promo at the Mini Pet Mart in Bend.  It is interesting how some dogs wouldn’t be caught dead in a funny costume – offends their dignity I suppose – while others revel in it.  Jupiter the wonder Aussie seems to like getting dressed up, and she loves having her photo’s done.  She seems to embrace the creative, but she grew up in a photographer’s household, after all.

These cuties seemed to like dress-up, even though they haven’t been exposed (ha ha) to the chaotic, funky environment of a photographer’s full-time studio environment.

Without further delay… I give you Howl-o-ween!

Bridgette, the awesome JRT was perfect as a fire chief.

The costume fits the dog... she is tough, brave and compassionate, as she is also a service dog.

Another service dog.  Buffy was the sweetest clown I have ever seen.

Buffy, the sweet Brussels Griffon in character as a clown.

If you are familiar at all with this blog, you must know Sunny by now.  She dropped by for a fun Halloween picture.  She is getting so big now that her costume choices are limited, but I think she captured the spirit of the day.

Sunny, the St. Bernard. I am just "batty" for this dog!

Scooter came prepared.  We did three costume changes and this dog was a trooper!  The first (directly below) was a skunk costume, though you can’t tell it by this pose.  It’s pretty cute anyway!

Scooter, the King Charles Cavalier.

Scooter dressed up as a skeleton.

He was dashing as a Johnny Depp type pirate.

In case you are wondering, my contribution to the spirit of the day was to be a witch.  Here you go…

Well, all I actually had was the hat.

If you would like some fun, quality pet portraits, I will be taking photographs at the Mini Pet Mart in Bend this coming Sunday.  This is the ideal time to get some shots for Christmas cards.  Don’t wait too long!  Come on in on Sunday, November 21, 2010 between 1 and 5 pm.

Come on in and have some fun!

If you can’t make it in November, we can see you in December.

If you want holiday portraits, don't wait too long!
